Ten Must-See Places in Costa Rica

,
3D ANIMATION :

Costa Rica is one of the countries in Central America. It is bordered by both Nicaragua and Panama as well s the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Costa Rica is a wonderful tourist destination for visitors as well as newlyweds, and here are ten of the many places that you can enjoy in Costa Rica.

1.) The Central Cathedral

Located in Alajuela, this cathedral is a must-see when you visit the city. Although it is pretty in its own way, it is not that impressive when it comes to its architectural design. What makes this area special though is because it is a nice spot where you can enjoy views of parrots and even a sloth or two if you are lucky enough.

2.) Juan Santamaria Park

You can take a nice long walk in this park named after their national hero. You will also see here cannons that were used during the 1860s era. After a stroll in the park, you can also visit the Juan Santamaria Museum which houses memorabilia about the national hero.

3.) Poas Volcano National Park

This is a favorite place among locals and foreigners alike. Here, you will get to see what the crater of a volcano that is still active looks like. There are guided tours that will take you to the summit of the volcano.

4.) The Lankester Botanical Gardens

What great way to spend a relaxing afternoon than having a nice quiet stroll along the grounds of this botanical garden? Here, you will see a large assortment of orchids and other kinds of plants. This is also ideal for families to enjoy.

5.) Arenal Volcano

You can also take guided tours to the Arenal Volcano, another active volcano here in Costa Rica. Here, you will be taken to El Mirador where you are in a safe distance to view the volcano's eruption. The hot lava flow is a nice view when seen at night, red lava against the contrast of the black night.

6.) Fortuna Waterfall

This is another favorite tourist spot. Here, you can spend the day swimming in its lovely pool and stream as well as catch a glimpse or two of its native animals. Do not forget to bring a jacket though as it can become chilly at night.

7.) Cahuita National Park

Visiting this national park is also a great way to spend the day. Its main attraction is its coral reefs that are located near the shore. As such, this is a good area where you can snorkel or scuba dive and get to enjoy the views offered by the different species of fish that make their homes in the reefs.

8.) Corcovado National Park

This is a wildlife park that provides a very good opportunity to see animals at their habitats. Here, you will see four species of monkeys as well as wild cats (many of them endangered) and other kinds of animals like birds. This remarkable plethora of animals in this national park is brought about by less human contact.

9.) Manuel Antonio National Park

This is home to squirrel and white-faced monkeys as well as other kinds of animals such as the sloth and iguanas. You can also see here toucans and birds and, of course, bats. Word of caution though, it is prohibited to feed the monkeys in this national park.

10.) Monteverde and Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserves

This is also a must-see in Costa Rica if you are a nature lover. You will enjoy here the sights of vast greenery as well as a myriad of creatures like amphibians and insects. Get a different thrill as you walk through its trails with vines hanging from trees and the songs of the birds and insects.

Are You Sleeping in a Safe Space?

,
3D ANIMATION :

This question was popularized by Rolf Gordon from England. I consider him a modern day pioneer, having dedicated the past few decades educating people about a condition known as Geopathic Stress. It is a phenomenon many people are not aware of, yet it affects everyone to varying degrees.

So what is Geopathic Stress (GS)?

Let's start with a simple vocabulary review: Geo refers to the earth while pathic refers to suffering or disease. In combination with stress, it refers to any type of noxious energies, natural or man-made, that over time may cause health challenges for humans, plants, and animals under its influence. In addition, inanimate objects are also subjected to its powerful force. Very few things can avoid being affected.

Noxious Energies and Zones of Disturbance: What Are These?

Here we are referring to any subtle energy, that when exposed to for prolonged periods of time, can create havoc on the immune systems of most living organisms. Note- some organisms thrives in these zones.

GS is the catchall term that refers to concentrations of both natural and man-made energies. They are typically found over or related to underground streams, certain pockets of minerals, fault lines, underground cavities, mines, pipelines, and vortexes. One way to illustrate this is to picture an underground stream of water, say 200ft down, meandering through the soil, all the while attracting energy above it as it flows. This results in an invisible river of destructive energy usually 10% as wide as the stream is deep; in this case, a swath roughly 20ft wide.

With our rapid technological advancements today, we are contributing enormously to the amount of GS in our environment. This occurs as a result of the electro-magnetic fields caused by electrical and wireless sources. The short list includes such things as: man's over use of electricity, bleeding wires, appliances, lighting, computers, TV, cell phones, transformers, power lines, generators, and all our wireless gizmos and gadgets.

Depending on the source, these energies can vary in intensity, direction, and form. Some are regularly spaced grid patterns, where others may be more random in width and structure. Experts estimate that 5% of the earth is covered by them. As one would think, areas of energy intersections are especially troublesome.

What Kind of Health Challenges Were You Talking About?

GS does not directly create health challenges. Rather, it works on depressing the immune system, when a living organism finds itself sitting, working, or sleeping in an area that
is geopathically stressed for several hours at a time, on a continual basis.

For example, if there is a line of GS flowing through your bedroom at the location of your bed, in particular, where you are sleeping, you can assume you are NOT SLEEPING in a safe place. Chances are high you are not sleeping well at all. Even more likely, the exact position where the line of GS crosses your body may be the exact location where you are experiencing health problems.

Now each person is very different, that is why we are called individuals. Some people are more sensitive and easily affected, others may seem to remain totally unaffected, and still others fall somewhere in between the two extremes. When someone is ill and has tried a number of different approaches to healing without success, then it may be time to examine the concept of geopathic stress as a contributing factor. Those who seem to heal, then have a recurrence , also should take time to examine this as a possibility.

What are Some of the Signs & Symptoms of Geopathic Stress? Geopathic stress leaves it's calling card for all to see. Once you are familiar with some of the warning indicators, the assessment can be fairly simple to determine if your home or business is affected. Good dowsing and observation skills help with this process as well. Below is a list of signs and symptoms commonly associated with GS.

Environmental Clues : Here is a listing of some environmental clues that could indicate GS may be a problem at your property site: problems with mold in the house. moss growing on the roof, walls, or lawn, problems with termites, ants, wasps, or bees, cracks in walls, driveways, paving stones, curbs, and roads, reoccurring mechanical and electrical breakdowns, areas with high rates of accidents, presence of trees with cancer, gaps in hedges rows or shrubs, infertile fruit trees, strangely twisted trees, areas where nothing will grow, or where growth is stunted or mutated, areas susceptible to lightening strikes

Personal/ Health Related Clues: Other areas to observe include: has someone in the home had a serious health challenge, such as cancer or MS, or have an illness which does not clear up despite good treatment; do you feel better when away from the home, then become ill once returning to the house; did you became ill shortly after moving into the house; do you live in a house which has never "felt right"; do you wake up in the morning feeling unrefreshed, or have difficulty sleeping; have close neighbors may be in poor health and were the previous owners of the home have been ill?

What is the Next Step?

If you suspect geopathic stress is creating a disturbing influence at your home or business, what should you do next? Look further into the subject! This article is just scratching the surface with the intention of opening doors of awareness. There are many indepth websites and books devoted to this area of study. Also several dowsing societies will have experienced dowsers who work with the detection and remediation of geopathic stress using specialized techniques, and can recommend competent individuals to assist you.

Don't Wait Until It Is to Late to Find a Safe Space

My husband and I are dowsers who have been doing energy clearing work for the past few years on properties. We have encountered a variety of interesting cases. In most situations, the homeowners were experiencing some level of personal difficulties. Examples include insomnia, asthma, high concentrations of EMFs, cancers, uncomfortable energy within the home, difficulties with interpersonal relationships among family members, repeated mechanical and electrical breakdowns, inability to sell a home, and multiple chemical sensitivities. Once a property is assessed through dowsing, the locations where geopathic stress is found is then remediated using the best selected technique for that particular situation. Often within an hour or two, the energy in the home shifted, and the homeowners could recognize the improvement.

Dr. Becker, M.D., author of the "Body Electric" and "Cross Currents" and one of the most respected research scientists in this area, stated, "We now live in a sea of electromagnetic radiation that we cannot sense and that never before existed on this earth. New evidence suggests that this massive amount of radiation may be producing stress, disease and other harmful effects all over the world by interfering with the most basic levels of brain function."

So now is the time to take a pro-active position. Educate yourself. Learn what you can do. Share what you learn with others. Don't wait until it is to late to find out you have not been sleeping in a safe place.

Foods For Battling Cancer

,
3D ANIMATION :

What Are Some Cancer Battling Foods That I Can Eat At The Dinner Table?

It has been recommended by some experts that we should eat 1/3 of our diet as animal source foods and 2/3 of the diet in plant sourced foods. You can also battle Cancer with colors in your vegetables and fruits. It has been suggested that you get 5 to 9 every day to get your full amount of fruits and vegetables.

FOLATE is a B-Vitamin that is said to fight Cancer. It is found in whole grain cereals, orange juice, melons, strawberries, asparagus, eggs, chicken livers, beans, sunflower seeds, spinach and onions.

TOMATOES--The processing of tomatoes into juice, sauce and paste increases the Cancer fighting ability.

GREEN TEA has been known to slow many types of Cancer growths.

GRAPES and grape juice - red and purple contain Resveratral, which has been found to fight certain Cancers.

BEANS-In studies those substances found in beans slowed tumor growth and prevented tumors from releasing substances that damage nearby cells.

THE CABBAGE FAMILY-Broccolli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussel sprouts & bok choy are all great in stirfries and defend against breast, cervical, colon and lung cancer.

DARK GREEN LEAFY VEGGIES like mustard greens, leaf lettuce, kale, chicory, spinach, chard, and turnip greens contain Caratinoids, Fiber and Folate and may help protect against Cancers of the mouth, larnyx, pancreas, lungs, skin and stomach. When eaten in recommended amounts on the 5 to 9 servings with some fruits.

RASPBERRIES and strawberries contain ellagic acid which deactivates cancer causing substances and slows the growth of some cancer cells.

BLUEBERRIES- Good for topping off a bowl of cold cereal, oatmeal or yougurt or salad to boost your intake of antioxydants.

TUMERIC suppresses the transference, proliferation and invasion of cells for a wide range of Cancers. It is used in rice and other dishes in India.

Cutting back on processed meats like bologna, ham & hot dogs is a good idea. Eating meats preserved by smoking or with salt raises your exposure to agents that can cause Cancer. So pass up the Deli Counter.

Limit Alcohol to lower your Cancer risk. Drink water and other liquids, it lessens the time the agents are in contact with body tissues.

Cooking Methods Matter. Frying, grilling and broiling at high temperatures causes chemicals to form in your foods. Steaming, braising and stewing produces fewer chemicals.

Pass up the sugar - Excess weight can raise your risk. Try fruit when you need something sweet.

Eating a Healthy Diet is the best and including all the above foods in your diet will put you one step closer to fighting off that dreaded disease

Fear Is For The Birds

,
3D ANIMATION :

The dictionary explains fear as meaning dread, fright, anxiety, worry, concern, cowardice, awe, wonder, and deep respect. The NIV dictionary explains the fear of the Lord, an attitude of reverence or worship in the presence of God-an attitude of humility and awe more than dread and fright. What does the Bible tells us about fear. Well let's look at our Bibles and see what it says.

First look at Genesis 3:7 it says Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Now look at Genesis 3:21 it says The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. And the Lord God said, The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.

Look at Genesis 4:7 it says If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.

Now look at Genesis 9:1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man, Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.

Look at Psalms 19:9 it says The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By then is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Now look at Psalms 111:10 it says The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.

Look at Proverbs 8:13 it says To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have understanding and power.

Now look at Proverbs 10:27 it says The fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short.

In closing look at 1Timothy 2:8 it says I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing. I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.

Now look at 1Timothy 4:7 it says Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance (and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.

So yes it is true that fear is for the birds. The Lord tells us that in the first book of the Bible. (The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands). What is more important is that the fear of the Lord is in us, and that we must acknowledge it. It gives us wisdom, add length of our life, it gives us good understanding along with counsel and sound judgment and power.

What a true blessing that we have when we stand in fear of the Lord, an attitude of humility and awe more than dread and fright, and not in fear of this world or anything that is in it. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.

Always Remember To Read Your Bibles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does Your Dog Have Fleas?

,
3D ANIMATION :

Itch, itch. Scratch, scratch, scratch. Does that sound familiar? Hopefully not, but if it does you might be one of the millions of people whose dog has fleas, mites or other minuscule cretins leeching upon him.

Fleas are tiny insects use their long, powerful legs to catapult onto your dog's body, where they burrow into his fur, live off his blood, and raise families of thousands. Many dogs develop a sensitivity to flea saliva, which the flea injects into your dog's skin as a way to prevent his blood from coagulating and thereby ensure a plentiful meal. If this is the case with your pup, you'll see him scratch, scratch, scratching away.

Whether or not your dog has an allergy to fleas, they're without a doubt an annoying pest that's tough to eradicate. Once your dog has contracted fleas, they will quickly spread to any area where he is a frequent visitor- his bedding, his doghouse, your carpet and furniture, and possibly your clothing and bedding as well.

Fleas and Disease

The most common complication of fleas on your dog is tapeworms in his stool. Yes, it is foul, but as it is with parasites, one often hosts the other, and many a flea has been host to a tapeworm who then made his way into your dog's intestinal tract. Just another great reason to keep those fleas off your dog. The other reason is anemia. Animals that thrive on your dog's blood literally suck the life out of him... so if fleas have been preying upon your pooch, he may show signs of anemia, such as extreme fatigue. Get him to the vet for a thorough examination and inquire about what vitamins and supplements you can give to restore your dog back to a healthy, energetic state.

How to Tell if Your Dog Has Fleas

The most obvious sign of fleas on your dog is constant scratching and irritation of the skin. You may notice pink welts on his belly that eventually crust over; these are flea bites. Another way to check him for fleas is to have him stand on a few pieces of white paper while you comb through his fur. If you see little black flecks on the paper that look a lot like ground pepper, you've got yourself a flea situation. The little flecks are "flea dirt," and when you moisten them with water they'll turn dark red because they contain blood... the blood of your poor dog that those nasty fleas have been feasting on!

Flea Prevention

Ask your vet what methods he recommends to repel fleas. In the old days, most everyone put a flea collar and/or used flea powder on their dog. Some had their dogs "dipped" in a flea repellant bath. Today there are more sophisticated options in addition to the traditional methods... some of which are all-natural and environmentally friendly, and others which are chemical-based and afford extended protection with minimal application.

IGRs (insect growth regulators) kill flea eggs and flea larvae, and are available in both collar and spray form as well as oral medication. Sentinel® is one product that does double duty as both a flea repellant and heartworm protection, and only requires one application per month.

Adulticides kill the actual flea and can be purchased as both spot-on and oral products. Frontline® is one brand that is applied to your dog's shoulder blade area, where it is absorbed and distributed throughout his system. When fleas come in contact with his skin that's been treated with Frontline® or a similar insecticide, they die instantly.

Flea Control in Your Home

Hopefully, you'll take the proper precautions to keep fleas at bay, so you'll never know the unpleasantness of a flea-ridden home. But if you do happen to find fleas, you'll need to act quickly to avoid infestation. First and foremost, give your vet a call and ask him the best method of de-flea-ing your dog and your home. Treat your carpets, furniture, dog bed, and areas outside your home where your dog is frequently found, with an approved flea treatment. Thoroughly vacuum every inch of carpet, and your mattresses if you think there may be a problem there as well. And don't forget to apply flea repellant to the inside of your vacuum! Although it does a great job of sucking up those creepy little creatures, your warm and cozy vaccuum serves as the perfect flea-breeding incubator, which can mean reinfestation later.

No one wants to spray or bomb their home with harmful pesticides, but if you don't take preventive measures against fleas on your dog, that's pretty much your only option to be rid of them. So do yourself a favor and get a flea repellent for that pup of yours!

Sandbox With Cover

,
3D ANIMATION :

One reason a sandbox cover is important is that it can protect your items from being blown away. Sand is very lightweight, obviously, and if wind hits an unprotected sandbox, you will lose a great deal of sand. It may not be too expensive to purchase a new bag, but constantly replacing sand that is lost because of the wind can add up, especially if live in a location where wind occurs on a daily basis. Also, it can prevent toys that your children play with in the sandbox from being removed.

It is a good idea to purchase a sandbox with cover so that the interior is protected from other elements of the weather. Many covers are waterproof, which will prevent soggy, wet sand. Most children prefer to play in sand that is light, dry, and grainy, much as you would find away from the ocean at the beach. Being able to cover the sandbox prevents water from getting in and making it a messy muck for your children to get rather dirty in while playing.

Sand can become contaminated by insects and animals if not properly covered. A sandbox cover will keep out most ants, spiders, and other bugs that could be harmful to your children. If they step into the sand with bare feet or sit in the box, they may suffer from an insect bite if there are a lot of bugs living inside the sand. Also, cats may see an uncovered sandbox as a large litter box...which would not make it very sanitary for your children to play in later. Other animals, such as squirrels and raccoons, may find it amusing to play in a sandbox, so having a cover in place is necessary to keep the sand clean.

During the summer, the sun can really heat up sand. It some cases, it can actually be too hot for children to handle, and can burn little feet that jump into the box to play. If you have a sandbox with cover, you can keep the area shaded. This will reduce the temperature of the sand so that it doesn't get too hot for kids to play in.

As you can see, having a sandbox cover is essential. It can protect the sand in several different ways. If you do not want to be replacing the sand too often, a cover can keep it from being blown away or from constantly getting wet from the rain. It can also prevent animals and bugs from getting into the sand and making it an unsafe environment for your children to play in. Finally, a cover keeps the temperature of the sand cool enough for your children to enjoy though the warmest months of the year.

Simple Yet Smart Security at Home

,
3D ANIMATION :

When planning home security systems do it yourself or DIY, there are a few simple rules you need to recognize and follow. First, you must keep in mind that an intruder and burglar by his/her very nature is a lazy coward; the fact that he/she does not have the guts and endurance to take on a real productive job is proof of this fact. Second these facts can be used to your advantage and thus using them as a guideline to start simply before you let your security systems get complicated is a good way to begin.

Now an intruder, being a coward is a big fan of the darkness and not being seen, so always begin with a well lit property. Set up strategically placed flood or any convenient kind of lighting that enables you good surveillance of your property from inside and outside your house. This will be a great way to make your home to inconvenient a target for any thief. A further deterrent is giving the illusion that the trespasser is being watch by more than just human eyes; so a few fake surveillance cameras strategically placed around the property will be a cheaper option before setting up a real system.

In keeping with taking advantage of a thief's cowardice, there is no better, more loyal and reliable security system than a good, well trained dog. The canine species, especially one that is a trained watchdog will always scare the living daylights out of any intruder and provide friendship to boot. Just be aware that responsible watchdog ownership will make sure any aggression the animal has will be properly channeled towards the right individuals. Thus train the animal or animals well and another tip is that you do not want them to take food from anyone but you. After all the effort you put in their upbringing and training, you do not want some heartless intruder giving your best friend poisoned meat.

The Homestead Goat - Find the Right Breed For Your Backyard Farm

,
3D ANIMATION :

Since biblical times different breeds of goats have provided milk, meat, skins and lots of fun to the people who owned them. No modern homestead would be complete without at least two of these delightful animals in the backyard farm.

But how do you choose which kind you want? This brief outline will help you pick the right type for you.

What's Important To You?

Are you primarily interested in milk, or do you want to join the growing number of folks who raise Boers for meat? Or are you interested primarily in mohair?

Making this decision early on will help you choose the right one for you.

Dairy Breeds - Nubian

Nubians are popular because their milk has the highest content of butterfat.

They can be any color or color pattern, but all have the same drooping ears and Roman noses. They are designed to cope with heat and desert conditions.

They tend to be large, but timid animals and can be easily restrained. Nubians need company, and will cry - loudly - if left alone.

LaMancha

This is a great animal. The LaManchas are sweet tempered on the whole and produce a good quantity of milk.

They are also easy to recognize; they look like they have no ears.

Saanen

Pronounced SAH-nen, these are pure white goats with erect ears. They are large animals and heavy milk producers.

Saanens prefer shade, so if you do decide to keep a couple of saanens, pen them in a shady spot.

French-Alpine

The French Alpine originated in the Alps and comes in a variety of colors and markings.

Breeders have emphasized size and production rather than color, so the French-Alpine may range from pure white through gray, brown, black and everything in between.

They are generally short-haired and have a high average milk production.

Oberhasli

These wonderful animals have a red bay coat with black feet and face.

They have a very sweet temperament and produce a delicious, slightly sweet milk.

Toggenburg

These are the oldest known breed. They are slightly smaller than the Alpines.

Their hair is short or medium in length and is brown, either light or dark. They have a white stripe down each side of their faces.

They also have white on either side of the tail and a white rump.

They prefer cooler conditions, but have a high milk production.

Nigerian Dwarf

If you have a backyard farm, this is the type for you. These little girls are small, but they put out an impressive amount of milk for their size.

A Nigerian Dwarf will produce from 2-6 pounds of milk per day.

They are ideal for families who just want a couple of gallons of milk per week.

The African Pygmy

Another small goat with an impressive output of milk. They are playful and affectionate.

They are excellent with children.

Meat Goats - The Boer

If you're interested primarily in meat, the most popular type is the Boer. But be warned, the Boer are infamous for their escape tactics. They consider most fencing a challenge, and they are not much good for milking.

If you just want a little extra meat, the dairy goats should provide sufficient meat when culls and unwanted kids are butchered.

A Hairy Benefit

Finally, Angoras are bred for their long silky mohair and for their meat.

The Standard Poodle - Sharp Intelligence and Playful Loving Behavior

,
3D ANIMATION :

Standard Poodles are some of the most popular dogs among breeders and pet owners. These elegant animals are believed to have originated in France, but some experts believe that the breed may have roots in Russia. However, it is commonly agreed that the French are responsible for developing the modern breed. In this article, we'll discuss the care of Poodles and the health challenges that they may face.

The Poodle dog group encompasses miniature Poodles, tiny toy Poodles, teacup Poodles and lastly the French Poodles, which are also known as the standard Poodle. They are available in a variety of colors including black, white, red, apricot, silver and brown. Poodles are perhaps the most easily recognizable dogs in the world thanks to their distinct clips, but extensive grooming is needed, even for the standard variation. They must be bathed regularly and clipped every six to eight weeks. The ears should be checked regularly for mites and the ear hair should be pulled out if necessary. The traditional clips were developed to lighten the weight of the coat for swimming, while protecting the joints and major organs from cold, but many owners opt for the plain lamb clip, which is the same length all over, because it is easier and more economical to maintain. The teeth need regular scaling. The standard variety sheds little to no hair and is a good choice for allergy sufferers.

Because of their sharp intelligence, standard Poodles used to be used as hunting dogs by French royalty. Poodle breeders prefer that they have a build that is neither too heavy nor too thin and the dog should carry itself proudly. Poodles are very easy to train, and consequently, they are very popular at circuses and dog shows. However, they are known to be extremely energetic, so regular exercise is a must. Without walks and play, they can get restless and bored. It's best to train your Poodle well and make sure he gets plenty of physical activity. They like other dogs and cats, and they get along well with children.

With proper care and nutrition, many Poodles can live well into their teens. The most common serious health issues that the Poodle dog faces include Addison's disease, gastric dilatation volvulus, thyroid issues, epilepsy, juvenile renal disease, hip dysplasia and cancer. The most common issue is ear infections but this can easily be dealt with if it's caught early and treated immediately.

Standard Poodles make great pets because of their intelligence and playful nature. However, it is the animal's loving nature that makes it so popular with pet owners. While the dog does require extensive care, it's a labor of love for owners who dote on their canines. After all, a dog is a man's, and woman's best friend.

Colostrum For Asthma and Sinus Issues

,
3D ANIMATION :

Colostrum for Asthma and Sinus problems

Asthma is a disorder of the respiratory system in which the passages that enable air to pass into and out of the lungs narrow, causing wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath due to a restriction of air intake. More than 17 million Americans suffer from asthma and it occurs equally in males and females and in all ethnic and socio-economic groups. The prevalence of asthma increased more than 60% in Americans between 1982 and 1994. Scientists suspect that the sharp increase was due to more exposure to second-hand smoke, growing populations in polluted city centers and new housing that was poorly ventilated.

Asthma attacks occur when the bronchi and bronchioles become inflamed, usually by contact with a triggering irritant such as pet hair or cigarette smoke. This reduces the space through which air can travel through the lungs, causing the lungs to work harder to move air in and out. The attack usually begins with mild chest pressure and a dry cough and, as the attack intensifies, wheezing develops and breathing becomes difficult with the cough producing a stringy mucous. Since the airway inflammation prevents some of the oxygen-rich air from reaching the alveoli, the cells of the body start to burn oxygen at a higher rate, which actually increases the body's demand for oxygen.

Inflammation of the airway occurs when an irritant comes into contact with the airway walls. The body's immune system detects the irritant as foreign and releases an immunoglobulin of the IgE class that can attach to the irritant. This triggers the release of specialized white blood cells, known as mast cells that head for the site of irritation. When they get there, the mast cells release histamine, a chemical substance that causes swelling and redness as part of an inflammatory response. This causes the muscles lining the airway to contract even more, narrowing the passage further. The cells that line the airway overreact to the inflammatory response and secrete a lot of mucous, which clogs the bronchioles and causes the wheezing.

The most common causes of asthma attacks are extremely small and lightweight particles that are transported through the air and inhaled into the lungs. For many people, the environmental triggers are allergens like plant pollen, mold spores, animal dander and fecal material from dust mites and cockroaches. The triggers can also be physiological, like exercise and infections such as the common cold. Alternatively, attacks may be brought on by substances found in food, such as the sulfites used to preserve beer and wine, and in medications like aspirin and ibuprofen.

Sinus problems are likely linked closely to a person who may suffer from asthma. The paranasal sinuses are air-filled, mucous-lined cavities in the head and cheekbones and in the frontal bone just above and between the eye sockets. The sinuses all drain into the nasal cavity. The sinuses are often infected with bacteria, causing inflammation and severe pain. Environmental and chemical irritants, as well as most allergens, can similarly cause a mild to severe inflammatory response in the sinuses. In all cases, the inflammation results in overproduction of mucous by cells lining the cavities. Repeated attacks often lead to a thickening of the mucous membranes and, sometimes, scarification requiring surgical intervention, which frequently provides only temporary relief.

So what can be done about all of this? The answer is routine dietary supplementation with a high quality bovine colostrum and here is why.

First, allergic reactions and asthma are manifestations of an immune system that is out of control. The problem is that at about age 13, the body's health support mechanisms began to deteriorate. Before puberty, when you were just a young child, the very foundation of your immune system was being established by a small gland-like structure in the upper chest, the thymus. It is within this structure that the cells mature that will determine the appropriate type of response that your immune system should mount after an insult and then cells from the same source will regulate the quality and intensity of that response. Cells from this gland also scan the blood for abnormal cells and remove them. After puberty, the thymus begins to shrink and ultimately almost disappears by age 50-60. So, although the immune system develops more immunologic memory with time, it gradually loses the ability to efficiently and effectively orchestrate and direct the actual immune response itself.

When dealing with any type of inflammatory condition, including an infection, it is wise to recognize that the best defense is founded on a good offense. Scientific studies have shown that insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1), a major component of high quality bovine colostrum, and the IGF superfamily of proteins can restore and maintain a fully functional thymus, even in adults. In addition, colostrum contains the alpha and beta chains of the hormone thymosin that act independently and in concert to regulate the functions of the thymus. Further, the proline-rich peptide (PRP), also known as thymulin, in colostrum is known to down-regulate the immune system and keep the response to a foreign substance under control. Other studies have shown that including only small amounts of colostrum in the daily diet of adult animals significantly enhances the ability of their white blood cells to respond to infection and destroy invading bacteria and viruses.

Thus, routine dietary supplementation with a high quality first milking colostrum, like that from Immune-Tree, will strengthen and support the immune system and help keep the immune system operating at an optimum level and hold the inflammatory response in check or, at a minimum, reduce the impact of the asthma attacks. As a suggested use routinely consume 5 - 6, 500 mg capsules or the equivalent powder daily and attempt to increase this to 8-10 capsules daily during the periods when the attacks historically occur.

Hot Air Ballooning - A Beginners Guide

,
3D ANIMATION :

The original way to fly from the first known flights of the Montgolfier brothers to more recent pioneers like Sir Richard Branson's record breaking flights Hot air Ballooning is one of the most fascinating sports to participate in.

Hot air ballooning is probably the slowest way to fly and probably not the safest but as far as being the most spectacular it's hard to beat. Booking a hot air balloon ride is fairly easy and common there are lots of Hot Air Balloon company's providing excellent flying experience.

Before taking the plunge and booking a flight check out the company and it's pilots experience as making sure the company has been certified by the CAA and the pilots are qualified and have a good safety record.

I started off going to Hot Air Balloon festivals there are some great shows around UK, Europe and the States the biggest being the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta which is held in October every year. In Britain we have 2 good Hot Air Balloon festivals the biggest being the Bristol Balloon Festival and it was great lots to do and see as well multiple Balloon launches over two hundred balloons took part.

Hot Air Balloons come in a lot of different shapes and sizes depending on the usage the really large ones are used to carry more people and sometimes you can see these saw for miles as they must contain the ability to carry more weight and more fuel on board.

Hot Air Balloons are difficult to pilot and must be flown in the early morning or in the evening as these are the times that the air is most still and manageable for the pilot. During the day there can be too much interference from thermals lots of hot air rising that can cause the hot air balloon to be unstable.

So if you book a balloon trip and its early in the morning don't forget it can very cold at altitude sensible clothing and a woolly hat are recommended items. Listen carefully to the safety brief from the balloon centre paying attention often makes for a safe landing.

Knowing what to expect does not prepare you for the feeling seeing the burner heating the balloon and standing in the basket waiting for the lift off which is carefully controlled by the pilot to be smooth as not to rise too rapidly.

Once in the air the you see the world from a totally unexpected way as you glide almost silently across the land. Some countries that have wild animals this is one the greatest ways of seeing wildlife in the natural stat without disturbing them.

Having been on many balloon rides in the UK and Europe as well as Africa I can recommend that this is an experience that you will never forget. However on the one in Africa I was a little pre occupied with not coming down in a heard of lions or something else. Fortunately as you will find out the balloons are tracked with GPS so that the support vehicle so that they can quickly pack up the Hot Air Balloon when it lands.

A hot air balloon is steered by the pilot understanding that air at different heights moves in different directions and the pilots skill is to interpret the weather for the day and adjust the height of the balloon to go in the correct direction for the day's planned flight.

Riding the skies at dusk and dawn is a real thrill and looking down at our busy way of life while drifting across the sky makes for a real fun day out. I urge you to put this on one of your to do before you die lists and get out there and cloud hop across sky.

Five Pennsylvania State Symbols You Probably Did Not Know

,
3D ANIMATION :

Were you aware that Pennsylvania had a state locomotive? How about a state dog? The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has a variety of fascinating state symbols. In this article we will take a look at a few of the lesser known ones.

Animal

Pennsylvania's state animal is the white tailed deer. The PA House of Representatives initially passed laws to protect these animals in 1721 and it was named state animal in October of 1959. Early settlers depended on these deer as a primary source of clothing and food.

Dog

Pennsylvania officially named the Great Dane as the State's dog in 1965. William Penn, of whom Pennsylvania was named, was well known for his love these dogs. There is a famous painting called 'Best Friend' that hangs in the Governor's mansion and features Penn with his Great Dane.

Locomotive

Pennsylvania has two state locomotives - a state steam locomotive and state electric locomotive. PA's state steam locomotive is the K4 1361 steam locomotive. Made in Pennsylvania, these coal burning trains transported passengers on PA railroads for over 30 years with more than 400 operating across the state at one time during the peak of the train's operating period.

The state's electric locomotive is the GGI 4859. Over 130 of these trains raced across PA rails at speeds in excess of 100 mph. They were used to carry both freight and trains filled with troops during World War II. Both trains were officially made state symbols in 1987.

Tree

Made use of by early PA settlers to construct log homes and for other building and survival essentials, Pennsylvania officially named the eastern hemlock as the state tree in 1931. The eastern hemlock can be found throughout forests and woodlands in Pennsylvania and can live for over 500 years or more. In general, these trees can reach heights of approximately 100 to 170 feet.

Cookie

According to state Senator Arlen Spector's website (but not the official Pennsylvania state site) the PA state cookie is the chocolate chip cookie. It was originally submitted for consideration by a 4th grade elementary school class.

Pennsylvania has a rich history and many more interesting state symbols. You can find more information on the history behind the symbols by visiting Pennsylvania's official state website or exploring each symbol independently on the internet or at your local library.

Millsberry Virtual World Review - A Cute and Enjoyable Experience For Kids

,
3D ANIMATION :

Millsberry is an online virtual world game created by General Mills, the food giant. The virtual world is however 2D and not 3D. Millsberry can be played online and is totally free of cost. Once a player signs up and creates an account, he or she has a variety of options to choose from- the avatar's outward look, the clothes etc. These things can be purchased using Millsbucks, the currency form of the game. Initially every player is provided a certain sum of money, but later, the players have to earn this money by playing different mini games.

Every player's performance in the game is judged by the following 5 factors- Health, Fitness, Intelligence, Civics and Hunger. In fact, Millsberry is a very educative game- children get to learn to open a bank account, or to send a post at the post office and several other things, which come in handy in life.

However, what excites the children are the options available for customisation of the avatar and all the goodies they can buy once they have enough millsbucks. They can buy their own house, decorate it, make friends and visit their homes. Having said that, the virtual world lacks the X factor as it is two dimensional. One doesn't ever get a holistic idea of how the place looks like. The navigation is a little rough and there are other technical problems as well. Because of these, the children are sometimes left dejected- they create their perfect house but somehow. It just doesn't look that great in the game. This problem is compounded by the fact there is no preview option.

The Millsberry mini games aimed at the collection of Millsbucks are interesting. Games like Archery and Solver keep the kids hooked on Millsberry. They lay great emphasis on creative activities like music and photography. Thus, they promote these interests in kids and kids get to develop their skills here.

But again, they come with their own set of problems. The instructions for these games are very unclear and kids are left confused about the rules. Also, the games tend to become repetitive and boring after a point of time.

The plot of the game has weekly stories which are also related to mini games. These are updated regularly but still, there isn't a central story line running through Millsberry. Nevertheless, the weekly aspect manages to keep the kids curious.

One area that is flawless in Millsberry is the safety aspect. Parents have absolutely no reason to feel worried about their kids playing Millsberry. There is no offensive language, no obscenity at all. But this is a direct implication of the fact there is no communication in the game. Millsberry lacks any interactive qualities and has only educative books. This makes the game a little monotonous. After all, kids love to interact and make friends.

Millsberry also falls short when it comes to the community aspect. There is no sense of social bonding. One would expect it to have a strong community, it being an online game. But there are no chat forums or any platform that facilitates conversations between fellow players. There are only a select few pre-determined phrases which cannot support a normal conversation.

General Mills has also used Millsberry virtual world to advertise their own products. All the food products that can be bought in the game carry their logos. These products are ridiculously over priced and this reportedly bothers parents. They believe that since everything is so expensive, children tend to get obsessed with collecting money. They are solely driven by consumerist tendencies. However, this is one of the minor problems.

Thus, Millsberry is cute and enjoyable for kids. But it has its share of technical and thematic problems which need to be looked into.

Free Anime Movies

,
3D ANIMATION :

The term "Anime" refers to Japanese animation movies, sometimes called as Japanimation. Japanese comics called Manga heavily influence Anime movies. They are made of bright colors and stylized images with variety of settings and storylines. They cater to a large and varied audience all over the world.

The term Japanimation preceded Anime but has now fallen to disuse. Earlier, in the1970's and 1980's the term was common. But in 1990's, animation movies reached worldwide market, so Japanimation refers now only to domestic animation. In Europe, Japanese animation is also called as Manga after the Japanese comics.

Osamu Tezuka's "Astro Boy" in 1963 was the first popular Anime series. In the 1970's the Japanese animation industry split from its Western roots and started unique genres like Giant Robots. The 1980's saw a boom in anime production and 1990's and 2000's saw the rising popularity of anime in the overseas market. In 2003, Spirited Away won the Oscar for best animated feature.

Anime covers a wide range of genres like science fiction, romance, live action, fantasy, erotica, adventure, and even social commentary. Most Animes come in three formats-films, television series and original video animation. Films are released in theatres and have the highest budgets and the best video quality. Popular Anime films include Akira and Spirited Away. A television series is syndicated and broadcast on T.V. and an original animated video is similar to a made for TV movie.

There's is a controversy around fan subs that are Animes subtitled by fans and released for download through Bit Torrent and distributed for free. Also problematic are bootleg versions of Animes from Southeast Asia.

Free Anime movies are available at a few sites that allow free downloads of several types of movies or are exclusively dedicated to Anime movies. For example, a new site called Anime Monarchy is a one-stop site for free shows like Pokemon and movie downloads like Kiki's Delivery Service, Anime games and Anime lyrics. Besides these, Anime Collections.com, 1StopMovies.com and TV Central have free Anime movie downloads.

3D Animation Movie Maker - The Evolution of Making Animations at Home

,
3D ANIMATION :

I guess a lot of people would like to make their own movies. By that I mean to go beyond editing together movie clips taken while on holiday, to making movies which tell a story. In most cases professional actors are expensive and most friends don't make good actors. This is why making a 3D animation movie is a satisfying low cost alternative.

I remember a holiday movie my father made in the 1950s. It had an animated title filmed, like the rest of the movie on 8mm celluloid film. When I asked him about it, he told me he had put his camera in a clamp pointing at the floor. He then created the first letter of the title using a piece of string and filmed it for a couple of seconds, then he created the second letter and so on. It was several days later, when the film came back from the developing laboratory that he discovered that his desk lamp had not really been adequate to illuminate his work properly.

Then along came computers. It took a while before computers got good at graphics, even stationary ones. But of course they did eventually get good, not only at rendering still scenes, but also animations. Unfortunately Hollywood studios being able to afford high powered hardware and software did not make it accessible to the amateur movie maker.

The high price of professional 3D animation software led to the concept of Machinima. In Machinima inexpensive computer games are used to record 3D animated movie clips. Some computer games have a camera or record function built into them, and for others which do not, there are additional utilities such as Fraps, which can be used for recording the game action.

Popular Machinima games include Quake, Unreal Tournament and SIMS 2. These games come with the ability to design your own sets and characters, either as part of the main game itself or using utilities, which are provided with the game. Admittedly getting exactly the movie clips you want from these games can be challenging. I never did find out how to part characters in Unreal Tournament or Quake from their guns, which meant unless you wanted to make a shoot 'em up movie, they were not ideal. No doubt obstacles like this could be overcome, but it seemed you could not get very far unless you were prepared to get immersed in scripting language.

Of the three games I have mentioned, SIMS 2, is probably the easiest to use for making Machinima, except that the characters, or in our case actors, tend to have minds of their own. So your movie star may wander off part way through filming, or someone else you don't recognize, might suddenly turn up and disrupt the scene you are shooting. With SIMS 2 you might even find your movie set spontaneously combusting during filming if you forgot to buy fire insurance. Perhaps this is like movie making in real life, but I would prefer not to have to put up with all of these uncertainties.

So you may wonder why no one has produced a budget software product, specifically for the purpose of making 3D animations at home. In fact Microsoft did exactly that in the mid 1990s with a product called 3D Movie Maker, which they targeted at the kids market. However the product was designed for early PCs, so it was pretty basic, on most home PCs it was slow, and it was soon discontinued.

Recently there has been recognition of this unfulfilled need. Reallusion in particular, has developed a 3D animation movie maker called iClone. This software is pretty much a dream come true for anyone who wants to tell a story using 3D animation. In its basic form it costs about the same as a new top end computer game, while the more advanced and more useful Pro version is still very reasonable.

Although you could make a whole movie in iClone, I find it is best to use it to construct a series of 3D animation movie clips and to then edit them together using Microsoft Movie Maker, which comes as part of Windows, or using a more advanced home movie editing suite such as Pinnacle Studio.

Other key points to note about iClone are that if you want to get up and running very quickly, there is a good library of actors, scenes and props, which you can purchase to add to the collection, which comes with the program itself. On the other hand if you are short of cash and prefer to build everything yourself and have plenty of time to spare, you can do that too using the tools included in the software.

One optional utility, which I recommend purchasing bundled with the iClone, is Reallusion's 3DXchange. This allows you to import content from other sources, including Google 3D Warehouse, which is a fantastic resource full of free models of buildings and other props, to enhance your 3D animations.

I find it amazing to think that with a budget of less than ,000 I can now purchase a PC and the software required to make 3D animation movies, when twenty years ago I would have needed $ millions for less capable facilities.

John Ratzenberger and His Roles in Pixar Movies

,
3D ANIMATION :

John Ratzenberger is an actor most famous for his role as a mailman named Cliff Claven in the 1980s sitcom Cheers. This was the place for his funnyman lines, being the sort of Know-it-all guy with an inflated ego.

Ratzenberger's got a unique voice and Pixar has kind of regarded him as their good luck charm. They create a character for him to voice if one hasn't been integrated into the story at the time.

Of all the Pixar roles Ratzenberger's gotten to play, the one that's his favorite is P.T. Flea, the hot-headed ringmaster of the Circus Bugs. John loves this character because he's so on edge and unpredictable.

What are the other characters he plays in Pixar films? Let's go through the list and find out.

Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 (coming June 2010): John Ratzenberger's Pixar movie role in the Toy Story movies is Hamm the piggy bank. Hamm is pals with Mr. Potato Head and they do well together with their sarcastic wit. Hamm's a bit of a pessimist and likes to take pot shots at his fellow toys, often jumping to the wrong conclusions about them too quickly.

A Bug's Life: In the second Pixar film, as mentioned, Ratzenberger's role was that of P.T. Flea, ringmaster for the troupe of Circus Bugs. He's greedy, demanding and obsessed with money. Being a highly irritable bug, he fires the troupe after they failed the "Flaming Death" performance.

Monster's Inc.: In 2001, John Ratzenberger's role in Monsters Inc. was for The Abominable Snowman, a monster who had been banished from Monstropolis some time ago. Mike and Sulley were also banished when they discovered Henry Waternoose's agenda and were sent to the snowy Himalayan mountains where they meet Mr. Abominable. Looming and frightening at first, he quickly greets the two with "Welcome to the Himalayas!" and is a hospitable, gentle creature. Personally, he is my favorite Ratzenberger-voiced character!

Finding Nemo: The role John plays in this film is unique; it's not a single character, but a school of moonfish. Marlin and Dory cross paths with the school of moonfish as they search for a way to get to Sydney, Australia. The moonfish swim together with remarkable precision and can make pictures of such shapes as an octopus and the Sydney Opera House. They poke fun of Marlin by making his shape and moving his mouth as he explains something to Dory, whom he's upset. In the end, the moonfish make a brilliant, flashing arrow, pointing the way to the East Australian Current, the superhighway direct to Sydney.

The Incredibles: Stick around to the very end for The Incredibles, because John Ratzenberger's minor role doesn't occur until, literally, the end of the film. After the Parr family (The Incredibles) defeat the Omnidroid and Syndrome, they think they're back into a life of normal routine. As the family is leaving the track event Dash just finished, a villain named The Underminer breaks through the surface of the parking lot in an enormous drilling machine. He's a mole-like monster who declares war on peace and happiness. The Incredibles family don their masks, ready for the challenge of defeating a new bad guy.

Cars: Big, lovable and loyal, Razenberger's role on this Pixar film is Mack, a 1985 Mack Semi-Hauler who wears the red and white Rust-Eze cap and pulls the fancy, state-of-the-art container for Lightning McQueen. Even when the rest of McQueen's crew quit on him for being so arrogant and obnoxious, Mack sticks by him. McQueen later demands that Mack drive all through the night to get to LA for the tiebreaker race of the Piston Cup. Mack can barely stay awake though, and finally dozes off when a gang of street racer cars put on some pretty music. This is when the trailer door opens and Lightning McQueen's adventure begins.

Ratatouille: Ratzenberger's role for Ratatouille is in a restaurant full of colorful characters. He plays Mustafa, the head water of Gusteau's in Paris, France. Mustafa is a plump man with a thin mustache. He's great at taking orders, but only if they're off the menu. When the feared food critic Anton Ego snidely tells Mustafa to "Serve me some fresh perspective," the waiter looks like a deer caught in the headlights, frozen with fear and confusion. What's that supposed to mean, he wonders.

WALL-E: John plays John in WALL-E. John is one of the passengers aboard The Axiom starliner who is lost in his own world with holographic screens and a sedentary lifestyle. Robots wait on him every moment of the day and in the movie John mistakes WALL-E for a drink-bot and falls out of his chair. This is what "wakes" him up and the small robot introduces himself to John. Later on, John meets Mary, another passenger who has been awakened from the oblivion around her. Together they watch EVE and WALL-E space dancing outside and then they notice one another, feeling an attraction. They help one another save babies when Auto tries to take over the ship and John shows some real leadership qualities.

Up: Ratzenberger's role in this Pixar film is Tom, a construction worker on the site surrounding Carl Fredricksen's home. John relates to Tom because he used to be a house framer before his career in acting took off. Tom is friendly toward the old man Carl, and makes an offer on the house on behalf of his boss. But his answer is met with a face full of wind as Carl points the leaf blower at him. Carl then takes Tom's megaphone and insults his boss, to which Tom shouts back urgently that he's not with him. Poor Tom!

These are the Pixar Roles that John Ratzenberger has played thus far. I hope that Pixar continues this tradition along with the many other fun traditions in their animated films. The characters and roles Mr. Ratzenberger shall play in future films will be so much fun to listen for as we sit in the theater immersed in a great Pixar story.

Weight Loss and Health Tips - Part IV

,
3D ANIMATION :

More and more people struggle to lose weight today. There are many reasons why this is happening, one of these reasons is lack of some important nutrients in our diet.

High protein diets have become a very popular way to lose weight, because many studies have shown that protein may be able to satisfy hunger better than either fats and carbohydrates.

Proteins are made up of amino acids arranged in different combinations. Next to water, protein is the most abundant substance in the human body. It is part of all body cells and is a vital building block in the growth, maintenance and repair of the body tissue.

Protein in our diet can come from two different sources:plant based(such as nuts, beans and soy)and animal based(eggs, dairy and meat). With the exception of soy, only animal based proteins contain all of the amino acids in sufficient amounts. Plant based proteins contain the same amino acids but some of them may be insufficient amounts to meet our every day requirements.

In terms of Weight Loss, scientists are finding that the most important amino acids are the branch amino acids especially leucine:if your protein intake is rich in leucine, a number of very interesting things occur that can activate a sleepy metabolism and result in losing weight.

An easy way to get a lot of leucine, without any fat, is to use high quality whey protein.

Eating two eggs in the breakfast has been shown to boost weight loss by 70% compared with the same amount of calories from carbohydrates.

Quality protein also helps you sustain muscle during weight loss, improve muscle fitness, improve immunity, improve antioxidant function, build HDL cholesterol, and enhance insulin and leptin function.
A healthy diet should include 2 to 3 servings of lean protein each day, preferably start taking protein at breakfast time.

Protein is an important part of life and nutrition, but is it possible to eat too much protein?

Experts recommend around 120 grams of protein a day.

If you want to increase your protein intake, do it slowly over the course of a week.

Autoresponders - Uncover 5 Amazing New Ways to Impact Your Autoresponders

,
3D ANIMATION :

People simply like it when they receive prompt replies from online entrepreneurs when they send email inquiries. It makes them feel valued. As an entrepreneur, this is something that you must seriously consider as this can either make or break your ebusiness. Don't worry, you don't have to spend 24/7 in front of your computer as you can get autoresponders to do the leg work for you.

Autoresponders are computer programs designed to help ebusiness owners in providing information to their potential clients and make follow-up with them at pre-set time intervals. As these can automate your other tasks, you can spend more of your time promoting your ebusiness using other effective internet marketing tools.

Here are the 5 amazing new ways to impact your autoresponders:

1. Advertise. Look for the most appropriate product that will match your potential client's inquiry and insert a short product description or a compelling photo just before you end your message. Don't forget to highlight the product's benefits and features that will match the needs of your email sender so you can easily create a need for your offering and boost your sales potential.

2. Maximize the use of your autoresponders. Don't just use them in sending replies to your email inquiries or sending email advertisements to your potential clients. To get your money's worth you can also utilize them to manage your email marketing list, send in orders (if you are selling information base products like MP3s, ebooks, ecourses, individual training videos, etc), and send confirmation email to your customers once the orders have been completed.

3. Follow-up. Send your potential clients with pre-programmed email advertisements to make a follow up on their intention to purchase from you. Make sure you that you send them at least seven days apart so your target market will not feel that you are already spamming them. It would help if you can communicate the benefits and features of your products or offer freebies that can easily wow your potential clients.

4. Use blinking texts, audio streaming, graphics, and animations sparingly. Unless you are targeting teenage girls, be very conservative in using these on your email messages. Although they can make your content visually appealing, they can extremely affect your downloading time.

5. Be enthusiastic. You need to sound very excited when offering your products to your potential clients so you can easily make a sale. You can do this by making your email advertisements sound upbeat, exciting, and warm.

Puppets Help Children to Reveal their Deepest Feelings

,
3D ANIMATION :

Puppets really engage and delight children. Watching them is in itself a form of art therapy for the audience. In some parts of the world performances contain a moral message and are watched with deep reverence. A wonderful illustration of this is Indonesia. There puppets continue to be used to re-enact scenes from sacred Hindu scriptures. Prayers always proceed the start of the performance.

The Wayang Musuem in Jakarta, Indonesia perhaps surprisingly has a complete set of British Punch and Judy puppets. They were apparently donated to the museum by a British Ambassador who used to personally give performances to invited guests in the embassy.

The Cadiz area in Andalucia, Spain also still has a lively marionette tradition. In Munich, Germany puppets perform classical opera.

Puppets are always moved by human and not mechanical means. These movable figures come in many shapes and sizes. There are marionettes, glove, rod, finger and shadow puppets to mention a few. They are all operated differently.

If you have not already done so how about exploring using puppets at home with the kids. The aim of my suggestion is not first and foremost educational but therapeutic. The aim is to work at achieving greater harmony between Mind-Body-and-Spirit. Of course, the activity does also have an educational aspect.

Children are often fascinated by puppets and interact strongly with them which can lead to an overcoming of shyness and fear and greater use of speech. The interaction also encourages concentration and use of the imagination. Psychologists use puppets to help traumatized and abused children to express their feelings.

Parents, I hope, will try to use this activity to reach deeper, unspoken levels in their relationships with their offspring. Sessions can become a form of deeply loving and healing communication,. Parents need to let their child play a dominant role if they want to. Both have to deepen their understanding of leading and following, giving and taking.

The making and operating of puppets can be a form of serious, carefully thought-out or joyfully spontaneous activity. Spontaneity can be very important as it avoids the planned lesson-like feeling that is often associated with school.

It is possible to buy beautiful puppets in every form imaginable. If your child really enjoys this activity it might be worth buying a few of the sort that you cannot make yourself. A lot of fun can be had just using things that are to hand. Paper bags, paper cups and plates, plastic bottles, a sock, a pillow case with a ball tied into one end as a head, ice lolly sticks with small pictures portraying whatever you like attached at one end, a block of foam, a scrubbing brush, a scarf with threads tied to the corners to produce an ethereal, ghost-like figure can all be put to practical use. Even attaching a piece of cloth to a can makes an effective puppet. Transform a computer mouse into a snake.

The figures do not necessarily need hands, feet or a body. If you attach weights for example button, beads to a piece of cloth it creates the impression of a body. Take the stuffing out of a toy, add a rod and hey presto it becomes a puppet!

Much fun can be had through the imaginative use of decorative materials such as ribbons, cloth, sequins and other sparkling bits and pieces. Shadow puppets can be created just by using your two hands in front of a plain wall. They can also easily be made by cutting shapes out of plastic, acetate or cellophane and decorating them with such things as sweet wrappers, sequins etc. Drawings can easily and cheaply be photo-copied onto acetate. Attach these cut out shapes to rods. Keep everything bold and simple.

When animating a puppet concentrated focus is called for. When operating a glove puppet the first finger goes into the puppet's head, the second and third fingers are held down as arms. You need to work with your arms stretched out. Make the figure come alive by moving your shoulders and elbows not by turning your wrists.

Operating marionettes requires long practise and great skill and may be beyond most of us.

Thinking up your own stories, perhaps incorporating the child's own ideas or using favourite stories or happenings in their own life is a great way to create a play for the puppet performance. Fairy stories work well. The underlying mood of the story can be dramatic, comic or sad and must be very visual and tactile. The play could even be based around a song. You do not always need a story. Your child may happily ad-lib and you can make up the text as you go along.

Music and sound will add atmosphere to the presentation. You can make sound with all kinds of objects. Saucepans, spoons, cups, dried seeds can all be used and are easy to find. Effective shakers can be made by filling plastic bottles with seeds, ridged surfaces on plastic bottles can produce scraped sounds. Large tins function as drums. The human voice is capable of humming, whistling, chanting as well as singing actual words.

Random clapping produces a very effective rain storm. First using one finger, then two, then three, then finally the whole hand. Remember that sound can become louder, quieter, slower, faster all adding a different atmosphere.

A theatre or stage is not strictly speaking necessary. There are many ways of creating a theatre. For glove puppets working above a sheet suspended between two chairs is probably the simplest.

An overhead projector allows the shadow puppets to appear larger than they actually are. Anything written on an overhead projector presents writing in readable form and does away with the need to write backwards. A white sheet lit from behind forms a screen for shadow puppets.

Explore and Experiment with Puppets with Your Child. It Will be an Adventure for Both of You.

Get Rid of Acne Fast - 3 Great Tips to Help You Get Rid of Acne Fast

,
3D ANIMATION :

Do you know that most people do not know the correct way to treat acne? This is the reason why many people are still suffering from acne in silence. There are many treatments and products for acne in the market. However, majority of them are not as useful as they say. If you want to know how to get rid of acne fast, read on and learn about the 3 tips that I have used to help cure my acne.

1) Improve your knowledge about acne

If you are like most people, rushing off to the pharmacy to get acne creams is the first thing you do when you have acne breakouts. This is not the right way. The first thing you need to know is about the causes of acne. People have the misconception about getting the tools first instead of learning how to use to tools.

I highly recommend you to pick up the book Acne No More written by Mike Walden who is a certified nutritionist. I found many shocking truth in the book that we are doing regularly to worsen our acne.

2) Your Diet Plays A Huge Role In Curing Acne - Reduce your intake of animal fats and sugar

More people are eating a western diet that consists of high fats and sugar. If you want to get rid of acne fast, you may consider reducing your intake. Consuming animal fats can cause our body to experience hormonal imbalance. These meats contain antibiotics and steroids injections that feed and injected into the animal to make it meatier. When we consumed the meat, these drugs and chemicals are transferred into our body.

Animal fats can also cause your body to become prone to inflammation. Acne is a form of inflammation and it will worsen when your body is prone to inflammation.

Sugar is the main cause of your oily skin and clogged pores. They cause your body to experience sugar spikes, which will lead to insulin spikes. Insulin spikes cause your sebum glands to produce more oil and your skin cells will turnover faster.

3) Detox To Reset Your Body System

Once you converted from your pro acne diet to an anti acne diet, you need to detox yourself to reset your body system. This will accelerate your recovery rate and you will be surprised by how fast your acne will disappear. This is one of the keys in the 5 unique holistic steps mentioned by Mike Walden in the eBook Acne No More.

Some common ways of detoxing include enema, colon cleansing and liver flush. These are your elimination organs, which may be sluggish after years of eating a bad diet. Once you clean them, you will experience better energy and health. Acne will also disappear gradually.

Weight Loss - Don't Cut Out The Good Fat

,
3D ANIMATION :

When you are considering going on a weight loss diet, probably you have the mistaken idea that you have to eat less. This is not strictly true.

Rather than eating less, it would be better to make wiser choices. If you are in the habit of eating and enjoying cakes and other foods made with pastry as in pies, try to cut these items out of your diet. Replace these foods containing Carbohydrates with foods that are better for you.

What Are These Better Foods?

You want to have a Balanced Diet.

A Balanced Diet consists of:

· Proteins

· Carbohydrates

· Fats

PROTEINS are found in Meat, Milk, Cheese, Eggs and Fish. These are complete Proteins and help the body to maintain itself in good condition.

Imagine your body is a car engine. Put Diesel in a Petrol engine and you have major problems. And the same if you put Petrol in a Diesel engine.

Protein can also be found in other foods eg plants, fruits and nuts. But these are not Complete Proteins. Yet whether Complete Protein or Incomplete, Protein is Protein and is good for you.

Plants are usually what we know as Cereals, you will usually have them for Breakfast. A way to remember them is to use the mnemonic 'BROW'

B = Barley

R = Rye

O = Oats

W = Wheat

CARBOHYDRATES are found in Wholegrains, eg Corn, Flour, Bread, Rice, Oats, Potatoes and Legumes.

Carbohydrates provide the body with energy.

FATS are found in Meat and Dairy Products and some Vegetable Oils.

The body needs a certain amount of fat to be sure everything is working properly. But there are two kinds of fat that we get from our food.

One is considered GOOD FAT and that is UNSATURATED FAT.

THE BAD FAT is SATURATED FAT.

SATURATED FAT causes the fat to settle on the inside walls of the Arteries. The FAT in the Arteries is called Cholesterol. It's the Cholesterol that makes the Blood Vessels narrow so the blood is unable to pass through properly. The heart then has to pump harder to allow the blood to pass round the body, the result can be the heart is weakened, so causing Heart Failure, High Blood Pressure and Strokes.

BAD FAT is called LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein).

If you can cut ALL the BAD FAT out of your diet, you will be doing yourself and your body a big favour.

But whatever you do, don't mistakenly leave out the GOOD FAT from your diet. Because the UNSATURATED FAT has been found to actually liquefy the Cholesterol and pass it out of the body by natural means.

The GOOD FAT is called HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) this GOOD FAT can be found in Plants and Animal Products. Therefore if you eat more fruit and vegetables you will be on the right path to living a healthy lifestyle.

And as an added bonus, you might even lose weight.

The Wonderful World of Silicone Kitchenware

,
3D ANIMATION :

These days it seems inevitable that wherever a person goes, especially a foodie, he is sure to run into an extravagant display of kitchenware and bakeware made of that marvel of the 21st century, silicone.

Only a few years ago, oven mitts made of silicone were making a subtle entrance into the kitchenware market. I recall the first time I saw such oven mitts and thought to myself that they were really weird! I was almost afraid to stick my hand into one of those mitts. How in the world does a person use them without seriously burning his hands and arms?

That was only two years ago. Now, the kitchenware and bakeware displays of silicone can be found in stores everywhere, from high-end cooking and kitchen stores down to big box stores.

Oven mitts are far from being the lone entry into the world of space-age kitchenware. There are now so many items made of silicone on the market that it is almost like being a small child left to gaze at all the scrumptious sweets in a candy store.

Besides being available in a panoply of wild colors, silicone is a fun-filled concept with which to play. It is so flexible it literally can be folded in half. It dissipates heat quickly and clean-up is a snap. Silicone kitchenware and bakeware can be cleaned merely with water or you can just toss them into the dishwater. Don't you wish you could clean up your traditional cookie sheets and cupcake pans that way, scraping off layers of your knuckles as you attempt to pry off chunks of burnt-on batter? I think not. Another advantage of silicone goods over traditional ones is the increased longevity of silicone. And of course, perhaps the most significant advantage of silicone kitchenware and bakeware is the incredibly extreme range of temperatures it can withstand, from roughly 40ºF (-40ºC) to 600ºF (316ºC).

Let us take a look at this treasure trove of kitchen fun. Where shall we start? Silicone oven mitts are phenomenal in the rough treatment they can endure. In addition to the ferociously high temperatures to which they can be exposed, you can dip your mitt-covered hands into a pot of boiling water with no injury to you or the mitts. There is less possibility of suffering scald burns as both water and oil are repelled by silicone. Also, the thinness of a silicone mitt allows for a more pronounced sense of touch.

Two more items of silicone kitchenware which come in very handy with stovetop or oven cooking are the flexible pot lid and silicone cord ties to secure that lovely roast you are planning to serve for dinner. No more madly searching for the spool of kitchen twine and the scissors with which to cut it. To help you prepare a succulent green salad to go along with that roast, there is the silicone salad knife which resembles a cake server with serrated teeth. For refreshing, icy-cold beverages there are silicone ice cube trays making traditionally-shaped cubes or silicone ice trays giving you fruit-shaped or other whimsically-shaped ice cubes. Perhaps you feel like putting hearts or shamrocks in your ice tea.

How can it be such a delicious dinner without dessert? Cupcakes can be made in individual cupcake cups (which need to be prepped with a nonstick spray such as Pam® before first use) or traditionally configured muffin tins of silicone. There are also silicone cake pans, as well as loaf pans perfect for Grandma's famous banana bread or your favorite meat loaf.

Don't forget silicon kitchen tools. There are standard spatulas, as well as dual-ended spatulas; basting brushes; funnels; collapsible colanders, with and without handles; hot pads; pan holders that slip over the pot's handle; tart cups; baking sheets; reusable cookie sheet liners; colanders that fold totally flat, for easy storage; warmers/steamers with which to warm tortillas or to steam vegetables; bundt cake pans; lasagna pans; madelaine pans; bowls; cookie cutters in varied animal, flower, and other shapes; tongs; trivets; pinch bowls; rolling pins; tuna press/canned food strainers; garlic peelers; coasters; suction lids to cover leftovers; pot clips; pastry brushes; microwave egg poachers; bowl scrapers; egg rings in various fun shapes; whisks; pot holders; spaghetti tongs; and splatter screens.

Now that you have been introduced to the wacky world of silicone kitchenware and bakeware, it is time for you to explore and experiment with all these remarkable gadgets. Who knows what you will create?

Puppy Training Done Right

,
3D ANIMATION :

Puppy training is a life-long process. Puppies learn very quickly with proper instruction. The first few hours with your new puppy will make an indelible impression on your young dog, and the precedents you set now in training your puppy will usually last a lifetime.

The family members in the household must accept responsibility.

Decide on the rules and agree upon a routine for the care of the new family member. While everyone is excited and thrilled to have the new puppy in the house, puppy training starts as soon as the new dog enters the home.

Whether or not you are aware of it, you and the family have already begun to teach the young arrival, although it is not to say that your unintended puppy training has been all for the good. The unintended consequences of your puppy training may be that you and the family have already taught through example that it is perfectly fine to be on the couch. Your puppy training, although unintended, may have begun to reinforce that it is fine not be in the crate for the night's sleep, but instead to be on the bed, only to find that on a subsequent night the puppy will cry when put in its crate.

Puppy training is happening by your action involving the puppy and the puppy's observations of its new pack members. The puppy will regard you and the family as its new pack. What you do correctly and not do correctly in the early stages will affect your dog's behavior for the coming years.

Puppy training requires that you play a dual role of caring and loving guardian, and strong leader.

If you do not take up the role of leader, your dog will, and you will end up with a disobedient dog that can be a real problem. Lots and lots of affection is a wonderful thing for most puppies, but it must be tempered with the discipline of authority.

The puppy has recently been separated from its littermates and feels vulnerable and is very impressionable. Puppy training begins with its first observations and will continue through its entire life. Puppy training also entails picking up the education process where the dog's mother left off. Mouthing and biting is a common practice in puppies and young dogs in play and teething. Training the puppy to refrain from mouthing and biting would normally be learned from its mother and littermates, but since your puppy has been removed from that environment before the lesson has been learned, this part of training must be completed by the puppy's new guardians.

If you wish to develop a well-adjusted dog, puppy training must involve learning how to act around children and vice versa. It includes learning how to behave around adults and other animals as well. An improperly socialized puppy can grow to be aggressive and/or fearful. A well socialized puppy is well-adjusted and makes a wonderful companion.

Puppy training is giving your dog an education.

It is important to set good examples from the beginning. Few things are more demanding of your time in the early days than properly educating your new puppy. It is important to spend as much time as possible with the dog. Play with the new puppy gently and quietly, avoiding loud noises and overwhelming the young dog with aggressive attention and activity. Puppies require a lot of sleep as babies do, so when the dog appears tired allow it to rest. When done well, your training experience will be a wonderful memory you will cherish for years to come.
